They are designed to raise the consciousness and conscience of my Northern California community about the desperate circumstances of our swelling homeless population. My goal with is to generate community and government support for a safe-ground sanctuary camp for homeless people, because everybody needs a safe place to be. Just for fun, I offer Harry Harpoon: The Lost Party Tapes. Shot sometime last century, I converted the raw footage into five music videos of up-country, down-home, front-porch Americana with real-life troubador Harry Harpoon. Donna and Harriet make a PSA. The anatomy of a public service announcement. Ken Burns didn’t invent the pan-and-zoom technique. He just perfected it. Ratify the ERA! Where would we be without women? It Takes a Village This is a no-budget film on what One Source - Empowering Caregivers is and what it does. Shot entirely on a DSLR camera with an onboard mic. Be sure to watch the outtakes after the credits.
